Apalis T30
The Apalis T30 is a small form-factor Computer on Module based on the NVIDIA© Tegra 3 SoC. The Cortex A9 quad core CPU offers an operational frequency up to 1.4 GHz. The module offers high performance and advanced graphic capabilities at optimal power consumption. The module also exposes wide range of high-speed and advanced interfaces such as Gbit Ethernet, PCIe, SATA and many more.
The Apalis T30 product group is end-of-life (EOL). For further details please check the revision history of the product and the related PCN. Customers using end-of-life (EOL) Tegra products are advised to use our migration guide to seamlessly migrate to recommended hardware and software solutions for their products.
For a direct replacement, Toradex recommends the Apalis iMX6, Apalis iMX8 product group or a transition to the Verdin product family.

It offers a wide range of interfaces from simple GPIOs, industry standard I2C, SPI, UART, to advanced interfaces such as Gbit Ethernet, PCIe, SATA, etc. It also supports many multimedia interfaces including LVDS, HDMI, Digital Audio, etc.

Direct Breakout™ considerably simplifies routing of high speed signals on the baseboard. MXM SnapLock™ provides a unique connector mechanism for module fixation. Apalis also comes with support for ready-made passive cooling solutions for the most demanding applications.

Toradex offers free support and maintenance for Windows Embedded Compact and Embedded Linux on the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor based Colibri and Apalis T30 SoMs. This allows system designers to focus the application only instead of focusing on the OS and low-level device drivers. Other OS such as Android are supported by our partners.
Toradex carries out in-house development and maintenance of a Yocto project-compatible production-quality Embedded Linux BSP. Our extensive documentation and support makes sure your product reaches market in time. Full source code and Toradex developments are up-streamed into mainline.
Windows Embedded Compact 7 and 2013 are supported on both Colibri and Apalis T30. The development and maintenance is carried out in-house by Toradex. WEC allows you to use Microsoft .Net Compact Framework and Visual Studio.
